JR - Social Animals - Lithographs

The lithography represented on Social Animals.net were printed in the oldest Parisian printing house founded in the late 19th century.

Nowadays, in this house you can find the lithography press Voirin and Marinoni which were used by Picasso, Matisse, Miro, Chagall or Giacometti. Some contemporary artists such as Jean- Michel Alberola, Sophie Calle, JR, Paul Mc Carthy or David Lynch are regular customers of the atelier, as well as some fresh publishers.

The first lithographs represented here are from JR’s work who directed the 28 millimeters - Women are Heroes - project.

In the next months the goal of Social Animals.net is to expand the selection of pieces. Some young artists and some more confirmed will be invited to use those machines in order to produce originals lithographs with an unrivalled touch.
