Meadham Kirchhoff

I really liked their show as it was delivered in such a regimented way. The catwalk show was something different as the models marched out in unison. Then one by one did a quick walk around the catwalk, making the photographers sweat for that all important catwalk shot. The style of the show seemed to suggest a political or religious view with the crosses and jewish curls, possibly a comment on the Israeli and Palestinian problems.

Then again their was a definite gypsy feel about the clothes with lots of heavy wool shawls and thick, knee high socks. Though the styling seemed over the top, with many layers, the pieces individually are so wearable. I'm particularly envious of a knitted jumper with a witch on a broom flying in a heart. Meadham Kirchhoff usually do something cooky and different but don't dismiss them as strange and look at their clothes as it's all so covetable.
