Opens in 5 days On 14 May L&M Arts gallery in Los Angeles will be opening a show featuring exciting new work from the legendary artist Barara Kruger. The last time Kruger had a solo show in LA was in 1999 at MoCA, so this is going to be quite an occasion. New pieces include The Globe Shrinks; a multi-channel video installation, a Kruger "room wrap", and two exterior projections. Although the work is new, we can definitely expect the same ideas, themes and issues - like money, power, violence, doubt, desire, winning and, most importantly, losing. The exhibition will be running from 14 May through to 9 July, 2011.
