Despite the release of his third studio album being just a month away, rapper Kid Cudi has announced that he is leaving Kanye West's record label G.O.O.D. Music. The news was announced while Cudi was being interviewed for L.A.'s Power 106 radio station. "Me and Kanye were actually talking on the phone the other day," Cudi explained. "About me wanting to start my own direction, because he's trying to start his own new path, and trying new things as an artist. He was just like 'Man, I feel you. It's cool.' This is just from a business standpoint. There's no beef with anyone on the label. It's all love." The album will still be released through G.O.O.D. Music and Universal Republic on 23 April, 2013.
