We're seeing more and more use of film in fashion, and digital pioneers Dazed and Confused are a magazine truly embracing it.
This is a brilliant and engaging clip from a film made during the 'Inside Out' shoot featured in the December issue of Dazed and Confused. Shot in New York during fashion week, the fast paced, beat-driven black and white video features only new faces, in a moody tone full of attitude. Shot by Hugh Lippe and Karen Langley.
"It was very fast furious once the girls actually got in front of the camera, achieving the somber tone came naturally to these young girls, many of whom all were neck deep in their first season of the notoriously and rigorous NYC fashion week. Not only were they wearied and worn, but they literally melted in the soft light as their worlds became turned inside out", Lippe said of the shoot.
