Petterson’s new exhibition explores dichotomous relationships such as movement and stillness using a selection of visual imagery which he is known for. Elegant horses, draped orchids, and relics of years past are presented like museum objects in their panels, with dramatic mark-making to create movement and tension within the imagery. Petterson’s photography-based panel pieces are in many public and private collections. More…
