The Taipei Fine Arts Museum plays host to Ai Weiwei’s latest solo exhibition “Ai Weiwei Absent”. Media were given a sneak peek yesterday revealing the artists installation ‘Forever Bicycles’. The installation ismade up of 1,200 made-in-Shanghai “Forever” bicycles, housed under a 10-meter ceiling, the piece purportedly symbolizes a society in flux. The exhibition contains 21 works from the iconic and influential artist as it runs from October 29, 2011 to January 29, 2012. THanx Slam
