Azizi Gibson – Ghost in the Shell (VIDEO)
Brainfeeder’s latest hip hop entity, Azizi Gibson, featured on Captain Murphy’s “Immaculation” and has crafted quite a few amazing tracks over Flying Lotus production along with many others. Entitled, “Ghost in the Shell” the classic anime reference hints Azizi’s interest while he takes us on a smoke filled ride through LA, spilling out a plethora of cold lyrics, over the the smooth sounds of producer Jonothan Lowell.
Ever present cameos from classic streetwear brand, FUCT, as they support the young artist and his vision, its a contemporary and nostalgic hip hop sound from the new comer. Azizi’s next project “Ghost in a Shell” slated to release soon and I for one, cant wait for it.
Be sure to check out Azizi Gibson website.

Adam Yauch remembered: Beastie Boys’ Mike D and Ad-Rock open up on death of their ‘brother’ Yauch died Friday morning in New York after a three-year battle with cancer
The two surviving members of the Beastie Boys have broken their silence with touching tributes to raspy-voice rapper Adam Yauch.
“I know, we should have tweeted and instagrammed every sad, happy and inspired thought, smile or tear by now. But honestly the last few days have just been a blur of deep emotions for our closest friend, band mate and really brother. I miss Adam so much,” Michael (Mike D) Diamond wrote on Facebook Monday.
Yauch, 47, died Friday morning in New York after a three-year battle with cancer.
“He really served as a great example for myself and so many of what determination, faith, focus, and humility coupled with a sense of humor can accomplish,” Diamond wrote. “The world is in need of many more like him. We love you Adam.”

Sophie Bramly - Gallary 12 Mail - 1981 & +
It has not forgotten the rap, but it has perhaps forgotten, for the very young, that was the birth of the hip-hop movement, Afrika Bambaataa, Futura, Kurtis Blow. These funny cool guys, headed and tracksuit 3-band. Then, from the scratch, strong voices and especially the attitudes to the more unusual dances which clung to the asphalt…. Outside music and considerations of bands, youth has generated a strong in those years signage, in the dark recesses of the Bronx where to risk beyond the 125th street, needed be frankly brave. Jogging earned its stripes since, but also the Kangol hats and sunglasses to large branches of Cazals. This is a bit of this epic that tells Sophie Bramly, photographer at the time in New York and describe, in detail and to embrace the world of these bands emerging of a New York shared between Uptown still little cleaned, more living and a Bronx under high vigilance. His work is not social, but it is almost painterly, with a science to detail where the lace of a shoe, a thick shoelace tells as much as a portrait capturing this youth. Sophie Bramly exposes this work to the Gallery 12mail, the opportunity to find an Edition limited to 500 copies of these images… best.
