Photographs from iconic director Stanley Kubrick

A collection of photographs from iconic director Stanley Kubrick have been made available on VandM.com. As one of the pioneers of film, Kubrick directed memorable films like Lolita, Dr. Strangelove, 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange and The Shining, as he influenced todays generation of profound directors like the Coen Brothers, Tim Burton, Steven Spielberg amongst others. Consisting of 25 pieces of work printed in black and white this is the first time they have been available to the public and are derived from the director’s first job as staff photographer for LOOK Magazine from 1945 to 1950.

The exhibition Where Asia and America Meet

Asia Society Museum presents an exhibition of 227 photographs taken by Ai Weiwei, capturing the history, culture, and atmosphere of 1980s New York from his unique perspective.
